Thank you for taking time to learn more about our fund and our efforts to pay tribute to the heroes of the New York City Police and Fire Department.

In response to the recent tragic attack on America and loss of approximately 300 New York City Police and Firefighters, the National Association Citizens On Patrol, has established the NACOP911Fund to help raise $1.5 Million dollars. The money will be used exclusively to build a monument in memory of the fallen Public Safety heroes who gave their lives trying to save others on the morning of September 11, 2001, at the World Trade Center complex. Upon completion, the monument will be placed at a location to be determined on the West Coast. According to the organization's President and Founder, Art Femister, "As law enforcement volunteers on patrol, we rely on Police Officers and Fire Firefighters to help us in time of need. Sitting 3,000 miles away from this tragic event in California, we feel so helpless yet want to do something meaningful. It is imperative these true heroes are never forgotten and are honored in some way. This is our opportunity to recognize and pay tribute to those who have always been there for us."

An additional goal of the NACOP911Fund is to offer financial assistance for the families of fallen Police and Fire Fighters to attend the West Coast dedication ceremony and offer each a personal size replica of the monument. Additionally, the group would like to offer a full size replica of the monument to the City of New York for placement where they best see fit.

The monument will depict a Police Officer and Fire Fighter standing in front of the Statue of Liberty while comforting a young boy and girl along with the names of the fallen heroes engraved on the base of the monument. "Our hope is that this scene will represent how the individuals gave their lives while protecting our freedom and the future of our next generation of Americans, today's young girls and boys", says Femister. "We hope to have the families of the fallen review the design and provide input as it was their spouses who paid the ultimate price. We fully intend to work with representatives of the families to achieve this goal and honor their wishes."
