5 NYC firefighters from Engine 33 Ladder 9 are biking 3000 miles across America. Having left Ground Zero on 11/11, 2 months to the day of the attacks, the mission of the firefighters is to thank all the people across America for their outpouring of love and support. Come join this amazing journey to support the firefighters at a city near you.

Past California FDNY Tour Schedule 

NOTE: Los Angeles AM radio station KFWB, AM 980,  provided hourly up to date reports of the tours location during the Freeway bicycle ride on both Saturday 12/15 and Sunday 12/16. Thanks for listening coming out and cheer on these brave heroes from New York.

Thursday Late Afternoon,  December 13th: Arrive City of Blythe, Riverside County Fire Station 43

Friday Early Morning, December 14th, Depart for Palm Springs via the 10 freeway with Calif. Highway Patrol Escort (118 miles) Rest stop at Fire Station in Desert Center.

Friday Evening, December 14th, Arrive Palm Springs Fire Department, 300 North El Cielo Road. Stay overnight at Fire House. Route to station will be Ramon Road. PS Fire & Cathedral City Police and Citizens Patrol to escort from Freeway exit to Palm Springs Fire Department. Due to the late arrival Friday night, there will not be time for public access to the tour however please come by Saturday morning to meet the Heroes.

Saturday Morning, December 15th, Palm Springs Fire Department, Public and Media time from 
8:00 am - 9:00 am at Palm Springs Fire Headquarters.   9:00 am Depart for Downtown Riverside (60 Miles) Exit route will be along Highway 111 through downtown Palm Springs, please come out and cheer on tour! 
Tour route will continue along the 10 freeway with a full California Highway Patrol escort to the 60 freeway through Banning and Moreno Valley and will exit University Avenue to downtown Riverside. 

Saturday Afternoon (approx. arrival 1:00pm) December 15th, Arrive for a two hour stop over and lunch with Riverside City Fire Department and USAR Task Force, Station One, Mission Inn Ave and Lime Street.

Saturday Afternoon, leave downtown Riverside approx. 3:00 pm via Market Street with Riverside Police Department Escort to the 60 Freeway for Rancho Cucamonga, CHP picks up escort.  (25 miles to next stop)

Saturday Evening (approx 5:00pm) arrive at Rancho Cucamonga Fire Station #174 at corner of Milliken and Jersey Avenue. Route to station will be Foothill Blvd westbound off 15 Freeway then south to Milliken. San Bernardino Sheriff & Rancho Cucamonga Police to escort on streets. Tour will stay overnight at Fire House.

Sunday Morning, December 16th, Depart for Final Ride of the tour at 10:00am to Downtown Pasadena. (40 miles) Tour will enter the 10 Freeway at Milliken Ave and continue west on the 10 Freeway to the 210 Freeway west to Pasadena. Final exit off ramp was Michillinda Avenue to Colorado blvd to Central Park at 1:00pm
