DATE: Saturday, September 6, 2008, 9:00am - 4:15pm
(Please Note: the conference is Not open to the general public)
This year we were pleased to have as our very special
Keynote presenter and one of the nations most sought after
speakers, retired, U.S. Army
Ranger, Colonel Danny McKnight.
If you've seen the epic movie or read
the book, "Blackhawk Down" you know you won't want to miss this
riveting presentation and hear the real life story of what
happened that day on the streets of Mogadishu, Somalia when our
troops took on a group of thugs armed by an unknown and shadowy
middle eastern man later to become known to all as Osama Bin
Laden.
You heard first hand how 123 elite U.S. Army Rangers
and Delta Force troops faced off against over 1,000 members of a brutal
warlord's gang of thugs armed with AK-47's, RPG's, Machine Guns
and more, for the battle of their life. You'll learn why
our troops risked and gave their lives to bring home the bodies of their fallen
troops and Blackhawk Helo
pilots and how such a small group of our brave troops
withstood the force of many. Prepare yourself for one of the most powerful presentations you'll
ever here that is sure to make you even prouder to be an American and
give thanks to those who serve it so well while appreciating
even more what we do as volunteers!
