Opening Statements and Agenda Review.
9:15am
Keynote Speaker; Ms. Erin Runnion, Nationally
Recognized Child Safety Advocate and Founder of the
Joyful Child Foundation,
in memory of her daughter, Samantha Runnion. Since the loss of
her daughter Samantha at the hands of a savage child sexual
predator, now sitting on death row for her murder, Ms. Runnion
has been featured in the national media for her tremendous
efforts to help enact laws to help protect our nations children
and has testified before Congress to help do so. Working with
other parents of victims such as Ed Smart, father of Elizabeth
Smart and others, Ms. Runnion continues to fight daily for the
protection of all our nations children.

"Volunteer Coordinator of
the Year", Award presentations.

10:30 to 11:30am: "Dog
Gone Good K-9 Blood Hound Demonstration" Presented by
Sgt. Coby Webb and her four legged retired partner, Maggie in
addition to Corporal Todd Garvin and his K-9 "Inga" and
Detective Brett Hensley and K-9, "Mandy" all from the Riverside
County Sheriff's Office. You'll learn first hand how these
incredible crime fighting four legged partners can, do and have
solved major cases with their super sniffing noses and
incredible capabilities.
11:30 - 1:30
Lunch and Networking Time. This special two hour period
will be used for attendees to eat lunch and meet with others
from throughout California and beyond, from various citizen
patrol groups and law enforcement agencies.
1:30 - 1:45 "2009 Citizen Action Award" Presentation
to Mr. Clarence Ellis, a true citizen hero who risked his own life in an attempt to save the
lives of two fallen Police Officers gunned down during the March
21, 2009 Oakland, California slaying of four officers.
1:45 - 2:45: "The
Real CSI; Behind the Scenes of a Major Crime Lab" Presented
by:
FBI
Senior Hazardous Materials Officer, Mr. Robert Weiderhold
Join us for this incredible presentation by the world
famous FBI on the inner workings of their crime fighting
labs and see the real CSI in action and more and see why the FBI
is the most respected investigative agency in the world!

3:00 - 4:00pm: "Citizen Patrol Uses Across the
Nation",
Presented by: Art Femister, Founder and President of the NACOP
and Public Safety Volunteer Institute/
During this pictoral presentation you'll see and
hear how Citizen Patrol volunteers and units are being used
across the nation in some common and very uncommon ways to help
support their communities and police agencies, from bike, ATV,
boat and aviation patrols and much more!
4:00PM
Awards Presentations for Best in Show Patrol Cars, Most
Unique Patrol Vehicle, Best in Show
Uniform, etc. as voted by YOU the attendees in addition to,
"Furthest Driven Patrol Car", "Furthest Traveled to the
Conference" and "Most Attended Agency" recognition awards.
